Contact
Contact RisingDampUK.co.uk
There are two different reasons people contact us: they want help with a damp problem, or they want to contact the website itself. The right route depends on which applies to you.

If you need help with damp in your property
If your main concern is a damp wall, start with our Get Help page. It explains what information is useful to gather before speaking to a contractor, including photographs, the position of the damp, whether it changes after rain, and what can be seen outside at the same part of the wall.
RisingDampUK.co.uk does not itself carry out damp-proofing work and cannot diagnose a property from a contact message alone. Where a contractor referral facility is available on the live site, independent local contractors may be invited to respond to an enquiry or quote for suitable work.
Editorial corrections
If you have spotted something on the website that you believe is factually wrong, unclear or out of date, please identify the page and the passage concerned. Specific corrections are much easier to review than a general message saying that a page is wrong.
Where possible, include the source or practical basis for the correction. We take technical accuracy seriously and will review genuine errors.

Sending photographs
A useful set of photographs normally includes the whole affected wall, a closer view of the damaged plaster or skirting, and the same section of wall from outside. Avoid including documents, faces, vehicle registrations or other personal details unless they are genuinely needed.
Urgent problems
RisingDampUK.co.uk is not an emergency service. If water is entering electrical fittings, there is significant flooding, a floor appears unsafe, or there is another immediate safety risk, contact an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service rather than waiting for a website response.
What we cannot do through the contact page
We cannot certify that a wall has rising damp, approve a contractor's diagnosis, value a property, provide a building survey, or guarantee work carried out by an independent contractor. General information on the website should not be treated as a substitute for an inspection where one is needed.
